3 YEARS RUNNING FOR BLACK COUNTRY COMMITTEE
3rd July 2008

The Black Country branch of UKita announces its committee for 2008/9.

The Black Country branch of UKita held its AGM in June at the Wing Wah Chinese Restaurant in Wolverhampton, which has proved to be a popular venue with members.

The AGM saw Nigel Babb, Director of Strategic Developments at the University of Wolverhampton, re-elected as branch chairman, along with Darren Cox of More Internet Communication as branch secretary. This will be their third term in office.

Daniel Reilly of DJR Marketing Services stood down as vice-chair due to work commitments, but this post was filled by Sharon Kendal of Blue Orange Marketing. Nigel Mills of Interlinx was re-elected as a committee representative.

Nigel Babb said: “The plan for the coming year is to focus on facilitating opportunities to create more business for our members. Our monthly networking events are well attended and cover a wide range of topics including business support information as well as technical ICT topics. UKita isn’t just a network for ICT companies, but for any business that works within and supports this sector.”
